“besiBiryerde” Ticket

• Disposable ticket combining 5 tickets which was developed to replace the paper ticket.

• The transactions are stored in computers by the serial numbers of the electronic memory (of "besiBiryerde").

• Serial numbers give the number of passengers within a certain time interval and the times of transactions for optimizing bus schedules.

Memory

• Data retention: up to 5 years

• 16 pages of 4 Bytes each

• 512 bits EEPROM (allows writing 10.000 times)

• “Lock” mechanism to allow “read-only”.

• Successfully used in public transport network use in Oslo, Barcelona, China, Netherlands, Sports Arena and Event Ticketing Card in World Cup 2006 and Real Madrid.
